The AzBCA is proud to announce the establishment of the Jim Phipps Scholarship given to the son or daughter of an AzBCA member. This scholarship award will be awarded in June of each year.
The Arizona Baseball Coaches Association will award one $500.00 scholarship for continuing higher education. This scholarship will be awarded to any son or daughter who is a graduating senior of an active AzBCA member.
The selection process will be based upon timely completion of forms and assessment of criteria established by the scholarship committee of the AzBCA. The recipient will be selected in May and notified by the end of May each year. The recipient will be recognized on the AzBCA web site and will be awarded the scholarship at the annual AzBCA All-Star Game (in alignment to the All-Star game of the member’s school).
Proof of enrollment in a school of higher education for the fall semester must be received by the AzBCA prior to issuing of funds.This proof of enrollment is the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.
The AzBCA will send the scholarship money directly to the school of choice in the name of the award winner.
