The AZBCA is proud to announce an additional to its' family of seasonal awards.

The AZBCA will be recognizing an outstanding Assistant Coach who exemplifies what teaching the game (as an assistant) to our young men is all about. This award will also be named after Coach Tom Pagel who is also the recipient of this inaugural 2011 Assistant Coach of the Year award.   Congratulations to Coach Pagel as he has been a fixture in Arizona Baseball for 50 plus years.  At age 81 he is still enjoying, working, and energetic about coming to the field.He is a truly amazing man, well respected, a great mentor, and a tremendous friend.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) by May 15th of each year. In a few paragraphs tell us who and why they should be recognized with thie award. The board will review all nominations, vote and announce a winner each May 31st. Award recipients will be posted on the Coaching Honors page of this site.
